Electrical Examinations
In accordance with the County Electrical Standards, examinations
shall be based on the Electrical Code being enforced. Applicants
may use the Electrical Code for reference and must achieve a
grade of at least 70%.
Master examinations are administered and graded in compliance
with the Maryland Uniform Electrical Licensing Examination
Committee, Inc. regulations.

Examination Dates
- March 12, 2008
- June 11, 2008
- September 10, 2008
- December 10, 2008
All examinations are scheduled to begin at 12:30 P.M.
ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE FILED 2 MEETING
DATES PRIOR TO EXAM DATE. FOR EXAMPLE: IN ORDER TO TAKE THE
EXAM ON 6/11 YOU WOULD HAVE TO HAVE YOUR APPLICATION FILED BY
APRIL 9TH.
Examination Rules
- Only the current edition of the National Electrical Code
book may be used
- Small, non-programmable calculators may be used
- Each applicant shall provide personal identification
and present his code book for examination by a Board
Member or Proctor prior to receiving his examination
papers.
- There shall be no talking during the exam and any
questions should be taken to the Proctor and discussed
in private.
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. There will
be no time extension for late persons.
- Bring your Notice of Examination.
- Total possible examination score is 100 percent. A
passing score is at least 70 percent.
