Limited Electrician
A limited electrician is defined in the Caroline County
Electrical Standards as:
"A person engaged in the installation of equipment and control
wiring of not more than two of the following categories of
equipment or facilities:
- Electrically operated heating and/or air-conditioning
equipment
- Electrically operated refrigeration equipment
- Electrically operated display signs and lighting
fixtures
- Electrically operated elevators
- Electrically operated fire alarm or detection systems
- Electrically operated appliances
- Electrically operated residential swimming pools."
Requirements
A limited electrician must:
- successfully complete an examination
Or
- have a letter of reciprocity from another Maryland county
from which he has held a Limited Electrical License,
which was obtained by examination, for at least one year
