Caroline County Board of License Commissioners (Liquor Board)

The administrative functions of the Caroline County Board of License Commissioners was transferred to the Department of Planning and Codes in 1989.

Composition:

Established by Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland, four citizens of Caroline County, including one of substitute status; appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the House of Delegates.

Meetings:

Held on the third Wednesday of every month at the Health & Public Services Building in Denton, first floor room 111; or in special session as the need arises. Meetings are open to the public. Each meeting begins at 9:00 AM unless otherwise noted. Hearing dates may changes or be cancelled.

Three years. Appointments commence on the first Monday in May or on May 1st. An indefinite number of consecutive terms may be served.
